I only used there take away but that's good if you like that type of food. Don't take my word for it try them!
I went here recently for my daughters birthday, I have never been to a Thai restaurant before, but I am so glad that we did. The food was good and the service very good, despite the fact that I laughed when the waitress read the menu out loud ......... I as warned not to laugh, I didn't know why.... But I do now..... And apologies from me.
This is my favourite restaurant in Lichfield. The customer service is good and the food is tasty which is what you need! Unfortunately, I did not order the lychee mocktail myself although I did sample some and it was delicious so I will definitely order one on my next visit. The aubergines in sweet chilli and garlic was delicious with the aubergines being nice and crispy. I have previously enjoyed their tofu massaman curry so vegetarian's have some good choices available. The service is friendly and prompt. We sat in the front section of the restaurant which is painted in gold and purple so if you prefer simpler decor, you may wish to prepare yourself!
Having been to Ma Ma Thai on several occasions I can't find a single fault with any of my dining experiences here. The staff are always warm and welcoming, and will be at your service throughout your meal without feeling like they're breathing down your neck. We recently went with a friend who was born and raised in Thailand, and she couldn't fault the food. If you can ask to sit in the dining room to the rear - they have loving recreated a traditional Thai residence, complete with fake roofing and ornate water features. Really does set the atmosphere perfectly. I opted for Ma Ma Thai as the destination for my girlfriend and I on Valentine's day last year - the set menu was perfect, the food was cooked and presented perfectly, and the price was reasonable. I keep using the word 'perfect' - but when you try the place I'm almost certain even the fussiest of diners will agree.
Excellent service and the food was extremely delicious. Stopped here during a work trip and really wished I lived closer so I could return regularly!
